COMPANY HISTORY AND PARTICIPATION

Tesla was founded in 1921 in Czechoslovakia under the name "TESLA joint-stock company for the production of electrical equipment". The founders were prominent engineers, among them František Křižík and Alois Zátopek. The company was engaged in the production of electrotechnical and electronic devices, including radios, broadcasting systems and other electronic devices.

Development over the years: During the 20th century, Tesla became a major player in the field of electrical engineering and electronics. Between and during the two world wars, the company was actively involved in the development of military technology. After World War II and during the Cold War, Tesla's technology became an important part of military and civilian applications in Czechoslovakia and Eastern Europe.

Splitting and Transforming: After political and economic changes in 1989, Tesla had to adapt to new conditions. Individual parts of the company became independent, some disappeared, others turned into new private companies. Czech company Tesla a.s. was created from the Tesla Hloubětín branch and became a direct successor of some aspects of the original Tesla.

The entry of a new investor brought not only an increase in production in the field of mechanical engineering, but also more complex services with greater added value in electrical engineering and integrated assembly services. The fact that the brand in the Czech Republic and Slovakia is standing on strong legs again is also evidenced by the significant investments in the area of ​​research and development of final products, which should start coming to the market under the TESLA brand.
